Paradise Shelduck - Putangitangi (Tadoma variegata - Anatidae: Ducks, Swans) North Island, New Zealand

The Paradise Shelduck is endemic to New Zealand, it is a not uncommon sight in pasture country, farm dams and lakes. A pair of ducks is filmed in a stream leading into Lake Waikaremoana in the centre of the North Island, a pair with chicks is filmed in Zeelandia sanctuary in Wellington.
