Fluttering Shearwater (Puffinus gavia, Procellariidae: Petrels and Shearwaters) South Island, NZ
The Fluttering Shearwater breeds on many offshore islands mainly off the North Island and the far northeast of the South Island. Wanders widely in NZ waters, also Immature and non-breeding birds are often seen in southeastern Australian waters.
