In Australia the Pacific Golden Plover is a non-breeding summer visitor, mostly to the coast, having migrated from its breeding grounds in eastern Siberia. Here filmed on a rocky shoreline west of Melbourne, Victoria. Often shy and wary to approach. Also a widespread summer visitor to Islands in the SW Pacific.
